Yesterday I got to attend the opening ceremony at the Columbia Field Store in Kamikochi. I became an official brand ambassador for Columbia Sportswear Japan last year and have been working on a few projects together since then. 

For the field store, I was asked to design a graphic to represent the Kita (Northern) Alps area around Kamikochi and the Japanese Alps. They also asked me to adapt the design for a tee shirt and tenugui. The items looked nice on display and they have a consistent feel with the original bottle that I designed last year for Alps Sangakukyo.
