There are multiple ski areas on or near Mount Norikura. There is Mt. Norikura Snow Resort on the Matsumoto side and there are Hirayu Onsen Ski Area and Hoonoki Daira Ski Area on the Takayama side.
Today I went to Hoonoki Daira and took some powder runs with some friends from Gifu Takayama. Here are a few photos from the day.
