I ran into a friend from the CLAMP lifestyle shop in Ina as he was heading out to make some turns on his Yukiita.

We woke to a light dusting of snow here in Norikura Kogen. We need a bit more snow before the resort will open all the runs but this was a nice way to start the day.

Today is the opening day for Mt. Norikura Snow Resort. I headed up with two of my boys to make a few turns and enjoy some free Tonjiru pork and vegetable soup.

The fall colors were rich today. These photos were taken near the Onogawa School and there was no wind today so the pond was like glass.

Norikura Kogen hosts about 100 Japanese Inns, Ryokan, B&Bs, and Pensions where people from all over Japan and the world come to enjoy time here.
